Locally Commission Services (LCS) Contract and Service Specifications – ESCC


 

Public Health Local Services Agreement between community pharmacy and ESCC plus the Service Specifications/Service Level agreements (SLA) for:

Smoking Cessation, Supervised Consumption of prescribed medicines, Needle and Syringe Exchange, Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) and Chlamydia Screening and C-Card Service can be found at the ESCC website here

This contract includes ESCC’s SERIOUS INCIDENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE which pharmacists MUST adhere to in the event of a serious incident.  

Proper management of Serious Incidents (SI) is vital for promoting patient and client safety. East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is keen to promote learning from incidents and encourages this by fostering open and honest learning cultures among commissioned providers.

Change to using PharmOutcomes from SONAR from April 1st 2016:

From the 1 April 2016 East Sussex County Council are introducing PharmOutcomes to manage payments for the following services from community pharmacies:

Smoking Cessation, C-Card Distribution, Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) and Chlamydia Screening, Needle and Syringe Exchange, Supervised Consumption of Prescribed Medication.

For new pharmacies or if you have not delivered a service for ESCC

New Pharmacies or Pharmacies who have not delivered a service for ESCC will need to be signed up for payment.
