Substance Misuse (BHCC)

Pavilions are delivering the Substance Misuse Service for Brighton & Hove from 1st April 2015. Pavilions is a partnership of organisations, led by Cranstoun, a charity with over 45 years’ experience of delivering specialist alcohol and drug treatment. The Pavilions Partnership incorporates the Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, local organisations and community groups, each bringing their own unique skills and experience to deliver recovery and health improvement for the city’s communities.

For Prescription and other queries call 01273 731900 during office hours.  Ask to speak directly with the Duty Nurse or Prescriber.

The Pavilions Freephone out of hours helpline will stop running from 1/4/16.  The freephone number (0800 014 9819)  can still be used to get through to Pavilions during operating hours 9am -5 pm Monday to Friday, 9am -7 pm Thursdays, 10am -1 pm Saturdays.

As from 14th December 2015, Pavilions Adult Drug and Alcohol Service will be based at:

Richmond House, Richmond Road, Brighton BN2 3RL. The Ditchling Road and Whitehawk premises will close.

The LPC has been advised that all drug and alcohol services will run from there, apart from some services which will operate from 9 The Drive, Hove, BN3 3JE, until the end of April 2016

Needle exchange services will run from Morley Street.

All the service users who are currently accessing Pavilion services are being given the flyer and information on the move to Morley Street for the Needle Exchange services.

Payments and Claims:

As from 1st December 2015 ALL invoices and payments for Substance Misuse Services and Needle Exchange are being managed on a monthly basis using the reporting database  NEO.

To get paid you must input all the information before the 8th of each month for the previous month’s supervised consumption and needle exchange transactions.

December 2015 transactions MUST be inputted before the 8th January 2016.  If you miss the monthly deadline you will not get paid.
